Wayne Rooney was sensationally sent off as United opened their UEFA Champions League with a goalless draw against Villarreal in Spain tonight (Wednesday).
And there were further concerns for United boss Sir Alex Ferguson after defender Gabriel Heinze suffered what appeared to be a worrying knee injury in the first half of the game.
