ผมเชื่อว่าหลายๆคนที่ผ่านเข้าในบล็อกผมจะน่ารู้จัก Savage Garden ผมชอบเสียงร้องของDarren Hayes เสียงดูมีเอกลักษณ์ดี ฟังได้เรื่อยๆโดยเฉพาะเพลงช้า แม้ว่าเสียงจะไม่นุ่มนวลแบบเสียงนักร้องชายรุ่นเก่าที่เสียงออกนุ่มนวล แต่ก็เป็นเสียงนักร้องชายตามสมัยนิยมยุคนี้ คือเสียงกลางออกติดไปทางสูงเล็กน้อย เพลงช้าของSavage Gardenนั้นผมฟังแล้วชอบ พื้นฐานผมก็ฟังเพลงช้าเป็นหลัก เพราะฟังได้เรื่อยๆ.....เพลง I knew I loved youนั้นเป็นเพลงในอัลบั้มที่สองของสองหนุ่มดูโอชาวออสเตรเลียน(ไม่ได้เลือกเพลงให้เข้ากับการแข่งขันออสเตรเลียนโอเพ่นนะครับ) ออกมาในปี 1999ชื่อชุด"Affirmation" และเพลงนี้เป็นเพลงที่ถูกสถานีเพลงในอเมริกาเปิดบ่อยมากที่สุดเพลงหนึ่ง และเพลงนี้ยังขึ้นชาร์ทเป็นอันดับหนึ่งในปีนั้นด้วย ...ผมลองอ่านเนื้อเพลงแล้ว ได้ความรู้สึกเหมือนคำว่า"พรหมลิขิต"เลยครับ ในท่อนเพลงคอรัสนั้น เนื้อเพลงก็ดูน่ารักดีครับ...หวานจริงๆ "I knew I loved you before I met you I think I dreamed you into life I knew I loved you before I met you I have been waiting all my life" ฉันรู้มาก่อนแล้วว่าฉันนั้นได้รักเธอก่อนที่จะได้พบกัน ฉันคิดว่าฉันเคยฝันว่าเธอได้เข้าในชีวิตของฉัน ฉันรู้มาก่อนแล้วว่าฉันนั้นได้รักเธอก่อนที่จะได้พบกัน ฉันเฝ้ารอเธอมาตลอดชีวิตของฉัน

ผมเองนั้นค่อนข้างเซ็นซิทีฟกับเพลงช้าๆอย่างเพลงนี้ผมหยุดฟังเพราะเสียงเปียนโนที่เล่นทำนองช้าๆเศร้าๆ กับเพลงอัลบั้มอย่าง It's Only LoveของSimply Redในปี 2000 ที่รวมเพลงหลายเพลงไว้ด้วยกัน อย่างเพลง EVERYTIME WE SAY GOODBYEเป็นเพลงที่เคยถูกบรรจุในอัลบั้ม Men And Womenที่ออกในปี 1987.จริงๆแล้วเพลงนี้เป็นเพลงที่เรียกว่าเป็นหนึ่งในเพลงStandard Jazz เป็นผลงานของ Cole Porterแต่งและเล่นในปี 1944 ต่อจากนั้นก็มีนักร้องระดับใหญ่หลายคนนำเพลงนี้ไปร้องอย่าง John Coltrane Ray Charlesหรือ Rod Stewart...ลองอ่านประโยคสุดท้ายดู ผมว่ามันโรแมนติคดีครับ
