หลายคนคงเคยได้ยินชื่อของ Boy George นักร้องนำของวง Culture Clubซึ่งเพลงที่ทำให้วงการเพลงบ้านเรารู้จักชื่อวงนี้ น่าจะเป็นเพลงจังหวะสนุกๆอย่าง Karma Chameleon ที่ขึ้นอันดับเป็นเพลงฮิตทั้งในอังกฤษและอเมริกา ขึ้นอันดับหนึ่งในปี1983 นาน 6สัปดาห์ติดต่อกัน และถ้าผมจำไม่ผิด ก็เป็นนักร้องเพศที่สาม ซึ่งสมัยนั้นการยอมรับก็ไม่ได้เท่าปัจจุบันนี้... ....เพลง Love is Love อยู่ในอัลบั้ม Waking Up with the House on Fire ออกในปี 1984 แม้ว่าเพลงจะไม่ดังขึ้นอันดับเหมือนเพลงเด่นในอัลบั้มอย่างThe War Song แต่ผมชอบฟังเพลงนี้มากกว่า ในสมัยนั้นคงย้อนไปเมื่อตอนผมอยู่ ม.4 ประมาณปี 2530 (1987) ก็มีเทปคลาสเซ็ตที่รวมเพลงฮิตของCulture Clubออกมา เป็นเทปละเมิดลิขสิทธิ์ ก็เลยได้รู้จักเพลงนี้ ชอบตรงท่อนที่ว่า"Love is Love" ฟังออกแค่นั้นครับ และชอบการทำเมโลดี้ของเพลง ที่ออกช้าๆสไตล์เพลงรัก กลับมาฟังคราวนี้ก็ยังให้ความรู้สึกชอบเหมือนเดิมเลยครับ
