ในสมัยที่เริ่มขึ้น ม.4 นั้นเพลงพวกSlow Rockนั้นฮิตติดหูผมบ้างเหมือนกัน อย่าง Here I Go Againนั้นผมก็ฟังจากคลาสเซ็ตรวมเพลงชุด Slow Rock Hit No.10 มีหลายๆเพลงที่ผมชอบอย่าง AloneของHeart...CarieของEurope ...Here I Go Againนั้น ผมชอบที่เพลงเริ่มจากช้าๆแล้วเร่งจังหวะขึ้นตามแบบสูตรของเพลงSlow Rock เพลงนี้มีสองเวอร์ชั่น โดยจริงๆแล้วเวอร์ชั่นแรกออกมาในปี 1982 แล้วต่อมามีการเปลี่ยนเนื้อร้องเพียงคำเดียวคือจาก"Like a hobo I was born to walk alone"มาเป็น"Like a drifter I was born to walk alone"ในปี 1987 เวอร์ชั่นสองนี้จะออกเป็นแนวร๊อคมากกว่า ที่เปลี่ยนเนื้อเพราะกลัวว่าคนฟังจะฟังจากคำว่า hobo ไปเป็นคำว่า homo ....เพลงนี้ยังคงสูตรสำเร็จของเพลงร็อคในยุคนั้นได้อย่างครบสูตร เสียงร้องที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของเพลงร็อคที่ต้องมีพลัง(เสียงร้องเต็มเสียง ฟังชัด ไม่มีการหลบเสียง) และเสียงลีดกีต้าร์ที่ต้องโชว์ความแม่นในตัวโน๊ตและลีลาการกรีดนิ้วบนคอร์ดอย่างพลิ้วไสว...อย่าว่าผมเลยนะ เป็นมุมมองของคนฟังเพลงเล็กคนหนึ่งเท่านั้น แต่ยังไงก็ยังแอบปันใจไปฟังSlow Rockตามวัย(ในตอนนั้น)บ้างเหมือนกัน...เพราะเพลงนี้ก้าวขึ้นBillboardอันดับหนึ่งด้วยนะ เมื่อ 10 ตค.1987....ไม่งั้นผมจะติดใจถึงขนาดนี้หรือครับ...
