what we are calling "teaching children to read" is actually all about inputting information into the brain so that lots and lots of brain connections are forged. This gives your child the tools to figure out the rules of phonics. So really, reading is just a by-product of this program. It isn't really the main by-product. The age at which he learns to read isn't really the important point. The main thing you are accomplishing is that you child is smarter and has more and more brain connections. It'll make it easier for your child to learn anything. And this advantage will follow him his whole life.
