We are a multinational Company engaged in the exploration for, and the development and production of, oil and natural gas, onshore Thailand and Hong Kong/China. We require additional persons to assist in our Drilling Team.
Wellsite Geologist (1 Position)
Responsibilities:
Analyzing, evaluating and describing formations while drilling using cuttings, wireline data, etc;
Responsible to decide when drilling should be stopped or continue drilling;
Offer geological advice to Drill Site Supervisor;
Supervising mud logging and wireline services personnel and monitor quality control in relation to these services;
Incorporate health and safety requirements in daily geological operations;
Keeping details records, writing reports, completing daily geological report and submit to operations team in town;
Compile reports and logs of the drilling process and complete the final well report;
Communication regularly with operations team in town;
The successful candidate will be mainly assigned to work in the field onshore Thailand, office work might require depends on the operations needed;
Qualifications:
Thai Nationality
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant subject, preferable Geology
Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience and ideally will currently hold this position
Good Command of spoken and written English
Strong leadership, good team player, excellent communications, and organizational skills
Responsible, flexible and proactive
The successful candidate will be motivated, energetic and have a good command of English. The candidate should also have a high level of confidence, will be used to working in a multi-national environment, and must have a working background in the petroleum industry.
