We are a multinational Company engaged in the exploration for, and the development and production of, oil and natural gas, onshore Thailand and Hong Kong/China. We require additional persons to assist in our Production Team.
Location: Bangkok - Thailand
Job Overview :
Working in Bangkok for an onshore Oil and Gas Operator, you will provide a high level of Reservoir Engineering expertise working on onshore producing fields in need of rapid and efficient redevelopment. You will provide leadership, coaching and technical direction to the multi-disciplinary team, improving workflows and helping to optimize the full reservoir engineering process. This is a senior level position, and applicants are invited with a broad background in reservoir engineering, operations focus, and preferably experience in the redevelopment and operations of igneous rock formation.
Requirements :
Bachelor or Higher Degree in Engineering or related subject essential, preferably an MSc in Petroleum Engineering.
At least 10 years relevant oil industry experience essential.
A broad background in reservoir engineer essential.
Previous experience working as a Reservoir Engineer essential.
Previous experience working on redeveloping onshore fields (igneous formation) highly desired.
Operator experience preferred.
Competent user of reservoir engineering software essential (E.g. Eclipse, VIP...)
Strong team leadership skills essential - ability to mentor and support more junior staff.
Strongly analytical evaluation skills essential - the ability to utilize all available data and apply the appropriate analytical and numerical techniques.
Strong reservoir simulation skills essential.
Ability to quantify risk and uncertainty and to understand the impact on production forecasts and decisions essential.
Working knowledge of other disciplines (geology, geophysics, drilling, production operations, and economics) highly advantageous.
Enjoys being part of an integrated, multi-disciplinary team.
Strong communication skills - ability to listen and communicate clearly and concisely within a multi-cultural and multi-discipline environment. Comfortable presenting to technical peers and Executive Management.
Candidate with less experience will be also considered as Reservoir Engineer
The successful candidate will be motivated, energetic and have a good command of English. The candidate should also have a high level of confidence, will be used to working in a multi-national environment, and must have a working background in the petroleum industry.
