Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of (Associate) Technologist FE General located in Bangkok, Thailand through February 27, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. (EST).
Position Details: Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Gas Sales
Daily verify Electronic Flow Computer of volume gas sales and online gas chromatograph analysis reports of all operating areas
Ensure sales gas flow is correct and coordinating with Offshore Operation and Measurement Coordinator when have any irregularity
Provide the verified sales gas volume and energy to PTT and other stakeholders on daily basis
Monthly process gas billing to provide gas volume to Accounting Dept. for invoicing to PTT
Understand gas calculation and able to review and recalculate whenever the system cannot support
Keen on gas billing process/system, and understand gas allocation procedure of each gas sales contract and able to track back any system error
Work closely with IT /Accounting Dept. for gas billing system modification to support the business requirements
Primary back-up Senior Sales Analyst on Shutdown Schedule, Gas deliverability forecast, Annual Planned Maintenance, PTT/Chevron Operation meeting arrangement, and Gas Mitigation Plan
Condensate and Oil Sales
Daily calculate and allocate daily condensate and oil production, sales and inventory
Provide month end stock to Accounting Dept.
Work closely with PTT and Chevron Commercial Team for condensate and oil sales to customers
Arrange for condensate sales and oil sales lifting schedule as per condensate and oil sale agreements
Closely communicate with FSO/FPSO OIM, Loading Supervisor and Mooring Master for condensate and oil lifting plan and FSO/FPSO maintenance activities
Arrange for monthly meeting with customers, as well as prepare information for the meeting eg. condensate production forecast, actual production, new platform start-up and condensate quality, and prepare minute of the meeting
Monitor and track condensate and oil quality and provide feedback to Asset Teams as necessary
Coordinate with Vetting Group for vessel clearance process,
Coordinate with Custom Group for crude oil export sales arrangement
Work closely with IT and Accounting Dept. for condensate/oil billing system modification to support the business requirements
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree or higher in: Engineering (preferred), Business Studies/Management or applied science.
3-5 years in a planning or technical function involving use of scheduling techniques for projects and production.
Good command of English, both written and verbal.
Relocation Options:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
