Job Description:
The Well Operations Engineer will report to the Operations manager, and will have several major responsibilities, these will include
- Onsite supervision of the Drilling and Well Service activities and any operations relate to Sub surface operations Manage contractors, services and products, to ensure activities are achieved in a timely, cost efficient, safe, and environmentally-friendly manner. The successful candidate will be expected to spend the majority of their time either at the companys well sites upcountry onshore Thailand or Bangkok base office, depend on company operations planning Some compilation of operations related reports and HSE data will be required. The successful candidate will be responsible for work programs, reports and cataloging, well data. Supporting exploration and provision as general reservoir engineering expertise Ensure accurate production profiling, reserve estimation and reporting, and field development planning Carry out field appraisal and development planning The Well Operations Engineer is a hands-on position and the successful candidate will work as part of our dynamic operations team.
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant subject, preferable Petroleum Engineer. Minimum of 5 years experience and ideally will currently hold this position. As the role is multidisciplinary the company is prepared to undertake significant on the job training.
The successful candidate will be motivated, energetic and have a good command of English. The candidate should also have a high level of confidence, will be used to working in a multi-national environment, and must have a working background in the petroleum industry.
