Nongkhai Korean-Style Barbeque is a small restaurant which serves meats, vegetables and soup. The restaurant also serves Isan food, such as Larb, a spicy dish that is served with fresh vegetables, cucumbers, wing beans and long beans.
You can order the popular Tom Yam as Tom Yam Kai (chicken), Tom Yam Pla (fish), or Tom Sab (meat) which is quite a bit spicier than the others. Tom Yum is characterized by its distinctly hot and sour soup, to which fragrant herbs are generously added. The basic broth is made of stock and fresh ingredients, such as lemon grass, galangal, shallots, lime juice, fish sauce, tamarind, and crushed chili peppers.
Feel free to bring your friends to try Nongkhai Korean-Style Barbeque. It is different from other such restaurants around Thakhonyang due to the atmosphere that recalls the Isan life style.

Milk Bar is a place that serves non- alcoholic drinks and great snacks. Here you can listen to music or talk to your friends. It is built as a small wooden house, with a terrace for outdoor dining. The entrance is adorned with a variety of planters and orchids, and the inside is decorated in classical style.
The recommended items are the many kinds of smoothies, including strawberry, strawberry-raisin. Strawberry seems to be the most popular flavor.
Toast is also great, especially with tuna-crab and mayonnaise topping. The toast is done to perfection, not burnt but crisp outside.
Along with smoothies, this place also serves a variety of rice dishes and a mixed spicy salad which is simply delicious.
At Milk Bar, the staff is polite and friendly, and the food is excellent.

This restaurant is located behind MSU official residence (condos), opposite the Nantiya Mart. You can recognize it from the small boat (rua) situated in front. All the prices are reasonable; 25 baht per bowl and an extra bowl is only 30 baht.
For many people, the favourite food is noodle, of which there are many kinds. The one we want to introduce here is Kuay Teaw Rua or boat noodle.
If you are a noodle lover, this restaurant is one you cannot miss. The food here has a great taste, the quality is guaranteed and the price is student-friendly.
