not sure if this can RESET other SIMILAR canon printers from different regions... i have successfuly reset the waste ink counter on my Canon ip4680

Assuming that your printer (ip4600 series) is already installed on your PC.
[เสียบเครื่องปรี๊นให้ต่อกับเครื่องคอม]
Reset can be done once your printer is on Service Mode:
[ก่อนอื่นต้องเข้า Service Mode ก่อน โดยกดที่เครื่องปริ๊น]
a. Switch Off the Printer [ปิดปริ๊นเตอร์]
b. Hold the Resume Button [กดปุ่ม Resume ค้างไว้]
c. Switch On and Hold the Power Button [กดปุ่ม Power ค้างไว้]
d. Release the Resume Button [ปล่อยปุ่ม Resume,โดยที่กดปุ่ม Power ค้างไว้อยู่]
e. Press the Resume Button Twice [กดปุ่ม Resume 2 ครั้ง]
f. Release the Power Button [ปล่อยปุ่ม Power]
By this time your printer is in service mode already.

Run the Service Tool Program (Resetter)
[เปิดโปรแกรม Service Tool Program]
(ในที่นี้มี 3 เวอร์ชั่น ไม่รู้อันไหนใช้ได้ไม่ได้ก็ลองดูแล้วกันนะครับ)
Select ASA as the Region (for ASIA PACIFIC - depends on your location)
[เลือกเขตพื้นที่ ASA (สำหรับ เอเชียแปซิกฟิก)]
Set Clear Waste Ink Tank, select Main & Platen
[ที่ Set Clear Waste Ink เลือก Main & Plante ตามรูป]
Click Cleaning 1 (Printer will print)
[กด ปุ่ม CLEANING1 ดังรูป (เป็นการพิมพ์ทดสอบ กระดาษออกมา 1แผ่น)]
