ถ้าหากจบวิศวะไฟฟ้าสื่อสาร และมีความสนใจที่จะเรียนต่อ FE พอจะเรียนไหวรึป่าวค่ะ เพราะว่าไม่มีพื้นฐานความรู้ด้านการเงินแม้แต่น้อย แล้วมหาลัยแถว ๆ Texas ที่พอจะมีชื่อเสียง มีรึป่าวคะ รบกวนช่วยตอบหน่อยนะคะ

#33 ไม่ได้อ่านหมด ยาว..แต่ เห็นด้วยกะความเห็นข้างล่าง ตรงมาก ถ้าจะมองในเรื่องผลตอบแทนเป็นหลัก ยังไง MBA ก็คุ้มค่ากว่าครับ
Seems easy to me.
Go to Stanford. After B school start at $150-$200 doing consulting, associate at IB or private equity. After three to four years or so you'll be doing $400-$750 if you are still in the game. If you are really good you will make partner or MD and go into the seven figures game.
Compare that with going to a mutual or hedge fund with an MFE. Most likely you'll make less -- a lot less.
Also, I'd be shocked if Stanford tuition was that cheap right now. I went to LBS and tuition there is over $60K -- and I am not claiming it has the rep Stanford does

I agree with #6. I'm not sure if there are any jobs in Thailand that would acqually require this specific kind of knowledge. You might end up working in a regular finance field. (But I could be wrong, things in Thailand may change very quickly.)

ในไทยมีงานฮะ ... ที่ทำงานผมหากันให้ควัก ฝากหาเพื่อนมาทำด้วยอีกแหนะ
ในความคิดเห็นส่วนตัว ผมชอบงานด้านนี้นะ จากส่วนตัวที่ชอบ math+computer+งานกึ่งๆ research เป็นทุนเดิม
จากส่วนตัวที่ได้ เงินก็ได้ ok อาจจะไม่ได้เยอะมาก เทียบกับหลายๆ อย่างที่บางอย่างรู้สึกได้เยอะกว่า ในแบงค์ฝรั่ง แต่ว่าจากที่คุยๆ งานมันไม่ได้น่าสนใจสำหรับผม เพราะแบงค์ฝรั่งในไทย ใช้ model และ framework จากที่ต่างประเทศคิดมาแล้ว ส่วนถ้ามี derivative ใหม่ๆ มา ก็ส่ง ให้ singapore evaluate ฉะนั้น ถ้าอยากทำด้านนี้ เงินดีๆ อาจจะต้องไปอยู่ต่างประเทศ ซึ่งผมเบื่อ อยากอยู่ไทย เงินน้อยหน่อยแต่ มีความสุข
ผมว่างานด้านนี้ ในเมืองไทยยังมีให้ทำเยอะ หลายแบงค์และ asset management ใหญ่ๆ ที่ผมเคยไปคุยก็พยายาม พัฒนาทีม FE และ quant อยู่
