Scientists have identified a protein leading to baldness in men.

After analysing the scalps of bald men, the scientists found that the levels of the PGD2 protein were three times higher in the balding areas of the head.

Scientists are now faced with the challenging of limiting or blocking the inhibiting effects of the protein.
