- Thailand has suffered its first ATM (automatic teller machine) hack, which affected 21 cash machines in Bangkok and other provinces resulting in token cash totaling more than Baht 12 million, while another 200 ATMs are suspected of having been infected with computer viruses. Police said the incident involving ATMs at GSB earlier this month was similar to hacking attacks in Taiwan and Malaysia.
