How i created an online shisha business

Embarking on the journey to establish ttlcherbal.com was a blend of passion, innovation, and a touch of serendipity. It all began in 2011, in the vibrant heart of Melbourne, Australia. I was introduced to shisha at a friend's club in the CBD, and the experience was nothing short of magical—exotic flavors intertwined with a communal spirit, sparking an idea that would soon become my life's work.

Determined to recreate and elevate that enchanting experience, I delved deep into the world of shisha. Traditional offerings were abundant, but I envisioned something different—an alternative that was both premium and tobacco-free. This led to the birth of Tuah Shisha, with a mission to craft the finest, tobacco-free shisha flavors that deliver a smooth throat hit and rich, thick smoke without the harmful effects of traditional tobacco.

Our breakthrough came in 2013 when we launched our first range of tobacco-free shisha flavors using natural husk materials. This innovation not only enhanced the smoothness and flavor retention but also set us apart in the industry. The response was overwhelming, attracting attention from lounges and retailers across Australia.

By 2015, we had partnered with Melbourne’s premier luxury lounges, including Marrakech Lounge Melbourne, who became our first official retailer. This partnership helped cement our presence in the premium shisha market and allowed us to grow our clientele throughout Australia.

Our commitment to quality and innovation didn't go unnoticed. In 2017, we expanded into Europe and East Asia, signing distribution agreements with major shisha lounges and retailers in the United States. Our global presence and export of Australian-developed flavors were featured by influencers like Sophia Smokes, recognizing us as a leader in sustainable shisha solutions.

As we grew, so did our responsibility towards the environment. In 2019, we introduced our “Eco-Friendly Line,” focusing on biodegradable packaging and continuing our commitment to sustainable practices. We became one of the first shisha brands in Australia to implement fully compostable packaging for all our products.

By 2021, we reached a significant milestone by selling over 100,000 units globally, with 62% repeat business. This achievement was fueled by strong relationships with influential shisha enthusiasts and social media influencers like Sophia Smokes, whose reviews of our products drove massive brand awareness.
