เมื่อปลายปีที่แล้ว ได้มีอุบัติเหตุเกิดขึ้นกับ student pilot ที่โรงเรียนค่ะ เหตุเกิดเมื่อนักเรียนนำเครื่องไปบินเดียวเก็บชั่วโมง เพื่อนคนนี้มี ชม บินประมาณ หกสิบชมค่ะ เมื่อมีเรื่องราวแบบนี้เกิดขึ้นก่อนจะไปบินทุกครั้ง little pilot จะต้องเตรียมตัวให้พร้อม และนึกเสมอว่า อุบัติเหตุเกิดขึ้นได้เสมอ เราต้องไม่ประมาทค่ะ

วันนี้ little pilot ก็ขอเอาเรื่องราวเกียวกับเพื่อนคนนี้มาลง และหวังว่าเรื่องแบบนี้คงไม่เกิดกับใครอีก รวมถึงตัวlittle pilot เองด้วยค่ะ



Search and rescue teams find crashed aircraft



Dubai: The pilot of a training aircraft belonging to the Emirates Flying School was killed when his aircraft crashed in a mountainous area in Oman on Tuesday.

The remains of the Asian male pilot T.K. were found in the Madha area of Oman on Tuesday morning during a second search by the search and rescue teams of the Dubai Police Air wing.

The pilot's body was also recovered and brought back to Dubai for repatriation.

The pilot was flying a Piper Cherokee 28 aircraft rented from the Emirates Flying School when it disappeared from the radar of Fujairah Airport's Air Traffic Control and lost radio contact.

Police said the Dubai Police Operations Room received a call at 8.30pm on Tuesday that a training aircraft had lost contact with the control tower and disappeared from the radar screen.

Police also received a report from Oman Police saying that they had received a report of an aircraft that had crashed into a mountain in the Madha region.

Dubai Police's rescue and Difficult Missions team reached the area and searched until 1.30am, but found nothing.

On Wednesday morning, three helicopters from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman Police scanned the area and found the crash site.

The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority is investigating the crash in co-operation with Dubai Civil Aviation. The authorities are trying to establish details about the pilot.

Airplane is popular for training

The Cherokee is an all-metal, unpressurised, four-seat, single-engine, piston-powered plane with low wings and tricycle landing gear; its main competitors have been the Cessna 172 and the Beechcraft Musketeer.

All Cherokees have a single door on the co-pilot side, which is entered by walking on the wing. The low-end Cherokees are popular trainers.
