มือใหม่ SEO มาทำความเข้าใจและเรียนรู้ Page Speed กันเถอะ Page speed เป็นปัจจัยหนึ่งในการให้คะแนนของGoogle แล้ว Page Speed คืออะไร ปรับแต่งได้หรือไม่แล้วมีปัจจัยอะไรในการคิดค่าของความเร็ว เราลองมาดูกันครับ ค่า Page Speed คือ ค่าความเร็วของการโหลดหน้าเว็บไซต์ โดยต้องเป็นเว็บไซต์ที่น่าเชื่อถือท่าง Google จึงให้คะแนน และการโหลดเว็บไซต์นั้นคะแนนเต็มอยู่ที่ 100 คะแนน ปัจจัยที่ใช้วัดความเร็วหลักๆ มีอยู่ 3 ส่วน ด้วยกันคือ Request คือ การเรียกขอใช้งานต่างๆ ในการแสดงผลเว็บไซต์ เช่น ภาพ, Css , script ต่างๆ หรือ JQuery Load Time คือ ระยะเวลาที่ใช้ในการโหลดทั้งหมดต่อหน้าโฮมเพจนั้น Page size คือ ขนาดของไฟล์ทั้งหมดในการโหลดหน้าเพจนั้น ที่กล่าวมานี้คือ ปัจจัยหลักในการวัดความเร็วและให้คะแนน แล้วอะไรคือปัจจัยที่ทำให้เว็บไซต์โหลดได้ช้า เราลองมาดูกันนะครับ Server ไม่มีประสิทธิภาพ คือการทำงานที่หนักเกินไปของ Server อาจเนื่องมาจากจำนวนการแชร์เว็บไซต์ (Share Host) บนที่มากเกินไปของ Server Script Code ต่างๆ ที่รันอยู่บนเว็บไซต์ มีมากเกินไป ทำให้ต้องเรียกใช้ script นั้น ต้องมีความรู้เรื่อง Coding ที่ใช้แต่งscript ต่างๆ Network โดยเน้นเรื่องหลักคือ Bandwidth(ปริมาณการรับ และการส่งข้อมูลของอินเตอร์เน็ต Hosting) ของ Server ที่มีค่า Download และ Upload ต่ำ

Googles Page Speed Insights นอกจากจะให้ผลวิเคราะห์เป็นคะแนนแล้ว ยังให้คำแนะนะเพื่อปรับปรุงเว็บไซต์อีกด้วย เช่น
การวิเคราะห์ เว็บไซต์ที่ให้เรารู้ว่าส่วนไหนที่เราต้องปรับปรุงของเว็บไซต์ของเรา เพื่อจะทำให้ได้คะแนนในเกณฑ์ดีขึ้น นอกจาก เครื่องมือดังกล่าวแล้วยังมี อีก 2 ตัวที่นิยม มานำเสนอครับ คือ GTMetrix กับ Pingdom 2 เว็บนี้ GTMetrix.com กับ Pindgom จะให้คะแนนต่างจาก Google PageSpeed Insights เล็กน้อย โดยนอกจากจะมีการวัดไปที่คะแนนหรือที่เรียกว่าเกรดแล้ว จะวัดที่ความเร็วที่ละเอียดแบบเป็น milisecond เนื่องจากว่าเว็บไซต์เหล่านี้นั้นจะทำการทดสอบเว็บด้วยเซิฟเวอร์ที่กระจายอยู่ตามตำแหน่งต่างๆ ในหลายๆ ประเทศ ดังนั้นเว็บเหล่านี้ก็มักจะนำเอาการทำ CDN หรือ Content Delivery Network มาคำนวณเพื่อให้คะแนนอีกด้วย มีผลโดยตรงกับเวลาที่ใช้ในการทดสอบ โดยถ้าเราใช้ CDN เว็บของเราก็จะโหลดจาก Server ที่ใกล้กับสถานีที่ทำการทดสอบมากที่สุด ดังนั้นเว็บที่ไม่ได้ใช้ CDN นอกจากจะได้คะแนนน้อยกว่าแล้วก็ยังจะใช้เวลาในการโหลดมากกว่าอีกด้วย เน้นผู้ที่ทำเว็บไซต์ กลุ่มเป้าหมายต่างประเทศ ส่วนพวก CDN (Content Delivery Network ) ฟรี ที่แนะนำเช่น CloudFlare แต่ถ้าเว็บของเราใช้ Jetpack ก็สามารถใช้ตัว Photon ซึ่งเป็น CDN แบบเฉพาะรูปภาพ ของ Wordpress ได้ครับ โดย Photon จะทำการเสริฟรูปภาพผ่านเครือข่ายของ WordPress แทน นั่นเอง
