We ran across an unusual furniture piece in the shape of a…furry four-legged creature. It is not clear whether the Animal Stool was especially designed for those lacking a pet, or for the ones in need of a comfortable seating unit. Either way, the project is funny and interesting looking which is why we thought of sharing it further. The Japanese chair consists of  a solid wooden framework with four emerging ‘legs’ and a furry covering, tail included.

There are two sizes available and plenty of colors for the fur cover. The stools can mimic a variety of animals; for example, there is a ‘wolf’ textured material that covers the big stool and  ‘fox’ textured fur that comes with smaller ones. Don’t worry, the cover does not come from live animals, even though it mimics real fur quite well. Do you find this chair design odd, appealing or both?
