Rainbows after a drizzle are lovely to look at. So it is with Christian Flindt’s “Parts of a Rainbow”
chairs for they are sure to brighten up living spaces with their
multitude of hues. His chairs are unusual for they stack sideways
unlike most chairs which are added from the top. It is perhaps the first
side-stacking chair in the world. The innovative design means you can
stack several sideways to form a colourful bench. In fact, by stacking
them in a group, the full rainbow effect is achieved which is why Flindt
called it “Parts of a Rainbow!” This prototype design won Flindt the
2005 Design Award at the Copenhagen Furniture Fair.
