Saturday 22, 07 We went to south of Kansas City. It is Debie's home. Debie has two kids Thyler and Ashlie. She had invited me to see Ashlie played soccer. In America, they encouraged children playing sport when they're about 3-4 years old. There are a lot of school sport tournaments like what we was going to see. Ashlie is 9 years old. She played very well. First half, she was a goal keeper. Second half, she was a center, forward and stopper (back). Actually she was in every position. There are many girls can play many position. They played well but the another team was better or luckier so they were lose. I think it could because of me. Every games that I went to cheer they all lose.
We went to Debie's home after finished the game. Debie and her mother cooked for us. Debie's friend, Frank, and his boys were also join dinner with us. I helped them to barbecue ground beef for hamberger. And the special one, blend the boiled yolk with crisp bacon and then put it back to the white egg.!! They called it 'Devil Egg'.!! That was my favorite for that night. Yummy!!! I brought it back home again.

1. เห็นจุดแปลก ๆ ตรงไหนเป่า อ้อ The another .. เออ เคยแปลกใจมั้ยว่า ตอนไหน จะใช้ other กะ another ดี หว่า จริง ๆความหมายสองคำนี้เหมือนกันนะคือ = อื่น อ่าวแตกต่างกันไงหละ
ง่าย ๆ เลย Other + N => ต้องเห็นพหูพจน์ สามารถเป็นได้ว่า จะเฉพาะเจาะจงหรือไม่ถ้าเฉพาะเจษะจงก็เป็น the other teams, ไม่เฉพาะ กะป็น other teams Another + N => ต้องเป็นเอกพจน์แล้วไม่ชี้เฉพาะ ดังนั้น จาไม่มี The นำหน้าแน่นอนจ้า ดังนั้น ก็ต้องเป็น another team จ้า 2. อะ ในประโยคนี้มี การเปรีบเทียบขั้นกว่า ขั้นกว่าต้องตามด้วย than เสมอจ้า 3. lose เป็น Verb แลวก็เป็น verb แท้ในประโยค ถ้าจะบอวา เค้าเป็นผู้แพ้ ก็ "They were loser. แต่ถ้าจะบอกว่า ถูกทำให้แพ้ ก็ They were lost.
They played quite good but another team was better or luckier than, thus, they were lost. (thus, they were the loser)
เห็นด้วยเป็นอย่างยิ่งเรื่อง another ผิดไปแล้วคร๊าบบ
แต่ขอเถียงตรงเรื่อง 'than' นิดนึงเพราะการเปรียบเทียบขั้นกว่าเป็นการพูดถึงสิ่งสองสิ่งเสมอ แต่ไม่จำเป็นต้องมีคำว่า 'than' เสมอจ้า..เพราะเราพูดอย่างแรกไปแล้ว แล้วก็พูดอย่างที่สองตามมา เช่น America is big. But Russia is bigger. ไม่ผิดแต่อย่างใดจ้า...
