The Hi-Life Companion

I got this 4-track CD Sampler the other day from a Bristol-based band, The Hi-Life Companion (Thank you Jon, Matt, and the band for your kindness).

As we all know, UK indie pop has never been disappointing. The Hi-Life Companion, comprising of members from Airport Girl and The Mayfields, plays nice jangling, hand-clapping, twee pop songs, outstanding for their harmonious chorus. The band has recently released their 3-track single on Cloudberry Records (and dozens of awesome indie pop bands are releasing their singles on Cloudberry!!)

The recommended track posted here is "You're the Greatest" which I had played more than once during my showtime at yesindie.com. Give the song a try and listen to more songs at the band's myspace.
