วันนี้พามาไหว้พระกันค่ะ เมื่อวานเป็นวัน วิสาขบูชา ตื่นมาแต่เช้า อากาศกำลังดี Bring you and join with my trip ka. After Visak Day. Simply life with simple smile at Grande Palace or we called "Wat Pra Kaew" เลยสบโอกาสจะได้แนะนำ เพื่อน ต่างช่า ไปเลยทีเดียวว่าต้องเตรียมตัวอย่างไร เมื่อจะต้องเข้าวัดพระแก้ว ขอเขียนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษแล้วกันน่ะ ถ้ามีเขียนผิดพลาดประการใดแนะนำติชมกันได้เลย ช่วยกันๆ  You can take BTS [National Stadium Station] or Subway [Hua Lam Phon station] then take Tuk Tuk or Taxi from there to Grand Palace. (This part is a bit hard for you because you have to bargain with the Tuk Tuk or Taxi Driver) From Pleon Chit BTS Station to Giant Swing they charged me 250 to 300 THB. Shouldn't over than 500 thb na. Try to bargain..believe me.. On the way they still try to invite you to visit tailor shop or whatever then try to say no. Or you can use my idea that your flight will be this early night then no need to spend time in other place. GPS in your mobile is very helpful in case driver drop you in wrong located. (Use Google Map) Oh.. and about the Taxi Fee you have to exchange the big note into small note(in 7/11 you can buy something) if not they might say ..I have no exchange!! Damm!!  Today I visit Wat Pra Kaew by bus No.70 hehe easy.  Many things to sale on the way.  Front gate .  Many tourists  When you pass the gate on your left hand side you will see the sodier.  Front gate you will see the sodier. You can take photo with them ka.  On your right hand side, you will see many tourists who are changing their pants. Because Officer not allow them to get inside. Before you can get inside, I have to inform you about how to dress properly to visit Wat PraKaew ka.  No Short pants, No shirt without sleeve. That is why some business man also do some business with this problems.  Actually inside of Wat Pra Kaew have the place where you can change your cloths. for FREE ! After that go straight, on your left hand side you will see this golden status.  Believe it or not? That Stupa made from Gold!!  This front yard is also beautiful, many tourists always like to take photo around here.  All the time you will hear "Ei Er San" hehehe (1 2 3 in Chinese) I understand that feeling if I were in other country, I also excited to take photo!! lol It's the hightlight point. Ok..finished? Keep going inside :)  After you passed the main gate then turn left again.  Feel so wooow? Pay for the Entrance Fee here.    Don't worry you can exchange there.    Please read the dressing rules.  If you follow the rules then you will not waste your time.  After that you will get the Guide Book in this place. You can see Thai Officer [ who work for the Government] in brown Uniform. If you need any help you can ask them.  Entrance to the temple.  It 's my time to pray for the buddha. I buy the lotus and candle and gold here. 30 ฿  Let's go!     In this blog, mainly I will write about how to prepare yourself to visit Grand Palace / Wat Pra Keaw na.   ยอ ยักษ์ เขี้ยวใหญ่  Look so crowded of people! [Yesh tourist] The weather today is not so clear ka but it's maybe better because it's not so hot..hehe You know what for Thais ladies hot sun is very bad. We don't like sun as same as western people like. We don't like to get tan..        Don't wear too thick Shirt. That is what I can warn you.  If you feet are tired do not sit on the wall or claim na. It's not polite and the officer will come to take you soon.   Can you see? How many of little giants and little monkeys? If you see and explore, please tell me how many of them you could count! Also tell me how different between Monkey and Giant!!  Ok give me a break, time for me to pray la. Lighten up and pray and put the gold on the buddha status... I can not take photo inside the temple where is the Jade Buddha stay. For security reason.  There have a lot of big Giants, who protect our temple well for many years. Then I will ask you again.. How many of the big giants you can count? And what are their name?  Is it too hard for you to find the answer for me ? If you have no idea then maybe it would not be fun right? ok I will bring you to the hight light of this temple. That is Jade Budha who came from Laos.  Look!! Many tourists today. Before you get inside yu have to take your shues off.  Inside the stupa, we can not take photo, Video. If not the officer will take your camera! Really I have seen ! Don't worry you can take a picture outside like me here. Or you can buy the postcard outside very cheap!  When you finished praying with the jade budha, you can come down at the entrance to put some magic water (in the golden big bowl) on your head with the lotus. (You can see how to do in the picture above) It's Asian believe to bring you joyful and happyness.   Now I try my app on my Note II. It's quite nice ha!   If you find some part of broken temple, please do not take it with you na. Please see the example below.  I heard many times that when tourists see it and take it back to their country, the bad thing or bad dream will happen with them or their family. As I told you about the big guard giants around the temple, remember? Some tourists have to fly back and bring it back to the temple.. You can ask the officers in the temple if you interested hehe. Maybe same as a story in Egypt, there also have Sphinx to protect their Pyramid. The Great Sphinx of Giza++ Ok.. I will bring you out.   Look at the below picture!! They use the whole tree to make the roof!  Nice  I like this wall painting.  You can see the story about little monkeys, little giants, the big giants, human, the golden stupa and Jade budda. You can spend time there around 3-4 hours to see, read and interpret the wall long story about war between Human, Giants and Monkeys etc. Here also have the great wall Art! Some part also made from gold. You can see but hey do not touch! Or use the flash.  Don't feel so sad that you can not take any photo inside the temble of Jade Buddha. You can buy postcard here not expensive at all and very beautiful!  I didn't take so much pictures from inside. I think you should see by your own eyes.  This is the palace, but there don't allow tourist to go inside. Just see it through the fence.  Ok Time to leave here.  I will show you more.. Keep walking.. under the hot sun. Noticed on your left hand side. You will see this building.    Nice ha?   After that you will see this building. The basement have weapons museum.   I walked pass this way. I think it's for elephant's stand.  Warm weather and tired? You can stop and have Ice Cream there.    Also have coffee bar here. Ok time to say good bye Wat Pra Kaew la. So tired or still have energy left ha? hehe If so I will bring you to see more outside and I will show you my favorite shop where sale the hot ginger tea, cold soy bean milk etc. ok let see!  After come out from the temple accross the steet. and turn left.  For some foriegner who can not eat Thai food. There also have Farang/Foreigner's food for you guys.!  Cold Drink shop to fulfill your energy!  Need hat or some gift? Don't bring your stuff to Thailand, all you can buy from here! Bring just your empty bag la to put thailand's gifts and things! lol  After you buy the postcard form Temple, write it and send it here. the post office! near temple. It's just 15 ฿ stamp to send out of Thailand la. Super cheap.  i proundly present this for ladies! Thai brand name bags! Naraya !! I know you will like it!! walking and seeing many things on the way you will find the intersection and then cross the street and turn right. Ya!! here we are, my ginger tea shop. It's Thai-Chinese style na. At Thnon Maharaj Road.   Name of this shop is "Ar Kung"    It's mine!  Ok feel better? drink some cold milk here hehe So a bit hungry la now it's noon time! I walked pass Chinese restaurant they sale Crispy pork with rice then I try. It was so yummy!  Also Chinese style. If you want to try new thing new experience. To see how life is going on. Here is also nice to see.  35 ฿ ka for Crispy Pork with rice.  So time to go back home also.. tired under the hot sun all morning.
