Hi Khun Jum, I've been one of your huge fans since last year and always admire your talent of making numerous delicious recipes. I am here in New York and occasionally try out your recipe which always turn out excellent. As for this recipe for "Mor Kaeng", my tears running down when read the background...my dad loved this yummy dessert too and he also passed away. I wanna try out this recipe real soon and will let u know how it is. Thanks so much for your great effort and appealing photoes for all viewers. Take care of yourself and say hi to your guy. Hope have a chance to go to Hua Hin when I go visit Thailand. P.S. So sorry I don't have any Thai fonts on my notebook!! Hope u don't mind.
I just stopped by to say hi and saw your answer. I wanna cry because I do really appreciate that you care for me (and also other viewers). I already made "Mor Kaeng" with your recipe as well as "Khao Tang Na Tang" which I let one of my Thai friends and a white guy tried them. They all said they were very yummy. Krong Krang was really crispy (I added more ground black pepper since I like it hot!) and Mor Kaeng was really crisp, caramelised on the outside, tender and creamy on the inside. They are the best! Unfortunately I am a "low-tech" girl, don't really know how to load a picture onto computer to show you those desserts.
It's so hot here in NY and I guess it's raining heavily in Thailand in July.
Take care naka Khun Jum. And Kob Khun Mak Mak for your tips and wonderful illustrated recipes.
