Chinese Wushu on the scene Chinese Wushu made its debut at the Olympics August 21.
Chinese Wushu practicers are expected to compete for 15 gold medals, though Chinese Wushu is not a competition event at Beijing Games. Medals won by Wushu athletes will not be counted into the total medals that participating countries won at the Olympic Games. All 37 Wushu athletes are from China.
