How to Use Moisturizer on Your Face
Hi! I'm Kathy Edwards and this is my beautiful model Melanie Immanuel for Makeup by Kathy and we are here on behalf of Expert Village. We are going to begin this evening first by cleansing our skin and making sure that we are prepared to put our makeup on so we are first going to use our cleanser and then we are going to a good toner and a good moisturizer. Those are the three steps that we need to make sure that our foundation and your makeup is going to stay on really nicely throughout the evening. The next step in our skin care is our moisturizer. You want to make sure you use a good moisturizer because it will help the foundation to go on the skin more evenly and will help to really protect your skin against wind, against sun and so I am going to give Melanie some moisturizer on her fingertip and she is going to apply it in the same way that we did our cleanser; forehead, cheeks, chin and nose. Okay now she is applying the moisturizer to the forehead, both of her cheeks to her nose and to her chin and once that she has done this, she is going to rub the moisturizer into her skin very very lightly and as she is doing that you will notice that she is not pulling and tugging on her skin. She is doing it very gently to her skin. She wants to make sure that she has gotten every space on her face covered with the moisturizer and that is going to help her foundation go on very evenly all over. Melanie now that you've got your skin care on, how does it feel? Good. Great.
