จะติดต่อทำอะไรนั้นต้องโทรศัพย์หรืออีเมลล์ไปนัดก่อนจะเป็นการดีที่สุด แม้แต่การไปหาหมอก็เช่นกัน ถ้าคุณนัดไว้ก่อนก็ไม่ต้องไปรอคิวนานค่ะ

วีนนี้เป็นบทสนทนาการนัดหมายกันระหว่าง Andrea กับ Frau Mayer ซึ่งเป็นครูจากอีกโรงเรียนหนึ่ง ได้ข้อความมาทางอีเมลล์เพื่อต้องการนัดหมายพูดคุยกับ Andrea เกี่ยวกับ การสอนในหลักสูตรใหม่ที่เธอกำลังเตรียมสอนอยู่
Andrea อ่านอีเมลล์ แล้วเช็คเวลา จากนั้นก็ส่งข้อความอีเมลล์กลับไป มาดูกันนะคะ ว่า Andrea พูดอะไรบ้างและส่งข้อความอีเมลล์อย่างไร


Andrea: Ah, eine E-mail von Frau Mayer:
(Ah, an email from Ms. Mayer:)

E-mail message from Frau Mayer: Sehr geehrte Frau Hoffmann, Kommen Sie auch zur Konferenz?
(Dear Ms. Hoffmann, Are you coming to the teachers' conference?)

Frau Mayer: Können wir uns treffen und über den Kurs sprechen?
(Could we meet and talk about the course?)

Andrea checks her diary: Mal schauen. Also, am Montag, dem fünften August, bin ich auf einem Tagesseminar...
(Let's see. Well, on Monday the fifth of August I'm at a day seminar...)

Andrea:...,aber der Dienstag ist noch komplett frei.
(..., but Tuesday is still completely free.)


Andrea types her reply: Also: Am Dienstag bin ich frei. Wie wäre es mit zwei Uhr?
(Well: On Tuesday I'm free. How about two o'clock? )

Frau Mayer's reply: Tut mir leid, um zwei Uhr bin ich in einer Besprechung. Wie wäre es mit halb drei?
(I'm sorry, at 2 o'clock I'm in a meeting. How about half past two? )

Andrea's reply: Gut, wir sehen uns also am Dienstag, dem sechsten August...
(Ok, let's meet on Tuesday the sixth of August...)

Andrea writes date down on her diary:

..., um halb drei im Konferenzzentrum. Ich freue mich.
(..., at half past two in the conference centre. I'm looking forward to it.)

แกรมมา วันนี้จะมีอะไรบ้างมาดูกันค่ะ

การเรียกชื่อของแต่ละวันในภาษาเยอรมันมีดังนี้ค่ะ:

Montag Monday

Dienstag Tuesday

Mittwoch Wednesday

Donnerstag Thursday

Freitag Friday

Samstag Saturday

Sonntag Sunday

การเรียกชื่อวันจะขึ้นต้นด้วยตัวพิมพ์ใหญ่เหมือนคำนามอื่นๆ ค่ะ

เมื่อจะพูดถึงวันอะไรนั้นต้องมี am นำหน้าชื่อวันค่ะ

ถ้ามีวันที่ตามหลังวัน จะมีคำว่า dem นำหน้าวันที่ และตามมาด้วยเดือนนั้นๆ ค่ะ เช่น:

Am fünften Juli --> On the fifth of July

Am Sonntag, dem fünften Juli --> On Sunday the fifth of July

Am elften Oktober --> On the eleventh of October

Am Mittwoch, dem elften Oktober --> On Wednesday the eleventh of October

เมื่อพูดถึงเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นตามปกติ หรือเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นมาอีกครั้ง เช่น ในภาษาอังกฤษจะใช้เป็น

on Sundays, on Mondays, จะเพิ่ม -s หลังวันนั้นๆ

แต่เยอรมันจะเขียนวันเหล่านี้ขึ้นต้นด้วยตัวพิมพ์เล็กและเติม -s ตัวอย่างเช่น

Ich arbeite dienstags. -->I work on Tuesdays.

Ich esse freitags Fisch. --> I eat fish on Fridays.
