What is in my mind about spending my time in Pantip/Klaibann?
Is there any agenda within my replies?
What can I benefit from this virtual "reach-out"? ------------------------------------------------------------
These raised questions are reasonable, fair ones if you would like to ask me.
I see Pantip as a public road where I could socialize with all people with certain levels of confidentiality. I have seen many good names in this public webboard....
I read those comments carefully, collectively, I "jigsaw" those individuals into virtual friends whose ideas and philosophy are similar to mine.
Actually, I tried to reach out into two sectors in Pantip; Klaibann and Wakhor... However, with language barriers, I wasn't successful in conveying my ideas/thoughts into the latter one.
At the beginning, I introduced myself into Klaibann as a person who were willing to help out for some people who would like to improve their English writing skills....
Somehow, it's too tempting not to give my comments on some other issues. I gave those comments sincerely as a real person.
Lately, this virtual relationship in this website seems to be more realistic to me though... I've reached out to some people whose constantly gave their comments in Klaibann...
Well, thus far, "my friendship applications" have never been turned down yet... :)
Well, I have lots of friends in real life in "a conventional fashion", you know, by educational and professional affairs.... So, basically, these "conventional" friends have similar profiles or professions to mine... (in a way, this is quite boring, don't you think?)
In the contrary, this newly introduced ones have pretty much different fields of studies and professions... That makes them more interesting....
So, let's wait and see what kind of relationship we're going to develop from this "virtual" contacts though!!--- This might be deserved a close scrutiny, a research!!
One particular case that I would like address was a person I knew since I was in Thailand... But we just knew each other superficially; what we did for our living and that's about it...
I accidentally ran into many of his comments in Klaibann (in that time, he used his alias so I'd no idea who he was.). After reading through his writings times after times, I admired him as a true thinker... whose got lots of good ideas, valuable suggestions, positive attitudes and tons of sense of humor.
So I wrote an e-mail to the guy and found out later that we'd known each other in real life for quite some time... small world, right?... :)
Without Pantip/Klaibann, I'd no chance to "know" this guy to another level: his thoughts, ideology and philosophy....
So, this is just a small example from my experiences exploiting Pantip as a communicating portal....

The deal was the loser has to write two long essays in their blogs. I'm pretty confident that I'll lose the Germany-Argentina bet... I do agree with you then. I think my writing skill is not good enough, although I'm studying abroad. I also think that this problem become a basic problem for most of Thai students. I have known you, from Pantip Klaibann, for such a long time but I've never ever write to you or read your work in this blog. I've just have a chance to come to see what you've written and I feel that it's really fantastic.
Have you every think about set up one bloggroup concerning technique for improving writing skills. That will valuable for everyone then.

Well, I first joined Pantip because of my brother: He, then in Thailand, sent me a link...and I have addicted to Pantip since. For me, Pantip is a place where I can catch up with what happens in Thailand and a meeting place. It's the most active webboard I know...

I think you may know this already..but want to refirm that..... with your help in editing and advising my essay for TWE in Klaibann, and with our conversation in pantip, you have inspired me to do my own blog to practice English and gave some encouragement to me < and including many people>

Frankly I guess posts should be published more and due to demands of this Millenials and this present situation. Although, a love to write is still intact... But having less time is related to having less imagination.... Therefore, I could not come up with new writings for quite some times.

My pen-name in Pantip is amatuer translator. Actually, I'm a lousy translator with lame translation. My pen-name is somewhat misleading, I have no background in linguistics what-so-ever. Anyway I love to read, write and communicate with people...
Reading is my most favorite hobby. I read everything from shopping bags to articles in theoretical physics. I do research and teaching for my living. So, reading, writing, thinking and doing research works are my everyday routine.
I would like to define myself as a person who is accepting new ideas and adopting those into my way of life.
I believe in power of knowledge/education. I think every society can be a better society with knowledge. Ignorance can be dispelled by it. Humanity can live sustainably and harmoniously with each other along with its biosphere with understandings in the nature surrounding it.
Apart from my philosophical thoughts reflecting who I am, I can tell you something I like or love in particular;
I love dogs.... Particularly, labradore retrievers.... One day, I would like to spend my time and life with them as a big part of my family.
Zhuge Liang is my hero. With his wisdom and faithfulness, he led a tiny army to a mighty and formidable kingdom. He left his humble residence with a hope to come back. But, sadly, he had never returned and died far far away from home in a horse carriage in a battle field. If I could choose where I would, I would say where-ever my lovely wife was nearby.
I value happiness and my family as my first priority. My profession and my philosophy come in the second. Pursuit in wealth has never been in my desire.
