City of London - The Monument

The Monument คือ อนุสรณ์รำลึกถึงเหตุการณ์ไฟไหม้ใหญ่ลอนดอน

ในปี 1666 เป็นเสาหินกลมสูง 62 เมตร ออกแบบโดยคริสโตเฟอร์เร็นและ
ด็อกเตอร์โรเบิร์ต ฮุก (Dr. Robert Hooke) สร้างเสร็จในปี 1677 ภายในเสากลม

มีบันไดวน 311 ขั้นขึ้นไปชมวัวบนชั้นบนสุด ที่ฐานมีรูปปั้นมังกรแบบเดียวกับ
ที่เห็นในตราสัญญาลักษณ์ The city of London ยืนเฝ้าอยู่ทั้งสี่ด้าน
