กล่าวถึงความคืบหน้ากรณีที่มีการเฝ้าระวังจับตากลุ่มผู้ก่อการร้ายเข้ามาก่อ
เหตุร้ายในกรุงเทพฯว่า
กลุ่มก่อการร้ายอาจจะทำในลักษณะคาร์บอมต่อสถานที่สำคัญ อาทิ
สถานทูตอิสราเอลประจำประเทศไทย โบสถ์ชาวอิสราเอล บริษัททัวร์และร้านอาหาร
โดยมีเป้าประสงค์เพื่อจ้องล้างแค้นพวกอิสราเอลที่อาศัยอยู่ในประเทศไทยเพราะ
ที่ผ่านมาชาวอิสราเอลไปสังหารชาวอิหร่านเสียชีวิตจำนวนมากจึงมีการวางทีมไว้
เพื่อทำการแก้แค้น
เบื้องต้นฝ่ายความมั่นคงของเราไม่ว่าจะเป็นศูนย์รักษาความปลอดภัยแห่งชาติ
ตำรวจสันติบาล สำนักงานข่าวกรองแห่งชาติ
และเจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายข่าวของอิสราเอลได้ติดตามความเคลื่อนไหวของกลุ่มบุคคล
เหล่านี้โดยมีชื่อว่า กลุ่มผู้ก่อการร้ายฮิซบอเราะห์ ซึ่งเป็นชาวเลบานอน
ทั้ง
นี้ จากที่ได้รับข่าวมีการวางแผนและเริ่มปฏิบัติงานในวันที่ 13-15 ม.ค.นี้
ดังนั้นเจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายความมั่นคงจึงได้ตามประกบกลุ่มผู้ต้องสงสัยว่า จะ
ปฏิบัติการเมื่อไร
แต่เนื่องจากผู้ต้องสงสัยอาศัยอยู่ไม่เป็นหลักแหล่งจึงยากต่อการติดตาม

ก็จะมีการยกระดับการติดตามให้เข้มข้นขึ้นในลักษณะของผู้ก่อการร้ายที่มีผล
กระทบต่อความมั่นคงของชาติ
อย่างไรก็
ตามทางรัฐบาลไทยไม่มีความประสงค์จะให้ข่าวดังกล่าวแพร่กระจาย
เพราะจะทำให้มีผลกระทบต่อการท่องเที่ยวและจะทำให้ประชาชนเกิดความตระหนกตกใจ

กรณีที่ทางสหรัฐฯออกมาเปิดข่าวดังกล่าวเพราะเขากลัวว่า
ประชาชนสหรัฐฯที่อาศัยในประเทศไทยจะไม่ปลอดภัย
เนื่องจากมีชาวอิสราเอลที่มีสัญชาติสหรัฐฯอาศัยอยู่ในประเทศไทยด้วย
