Corymborkis (Corymborchis) is a small genus of very primitive terrestrial orchids. Leaves are alternating and plicate on upright stems. Corymborkis veratrifolia is the only Corymborkis found in Thailand. Plants inhabit lowland tropical montane forests to up to 2ooo meters above sea level. In Krung Ching these orchids are commonly found in the walking trail to waterfalls, may grow up to 3 meters high. Fragrant flowers bloom in summer. Late flowers may be found in July with some dry pods.
