Reunion on Board Fuji Maru 2009
My friends who had ever participated the Ship for the Southeast Asian Youth Program sent information about Reunion on Board new ship "Fuji Maru" to me. At the time, I was not sure whether I could attend. However, there were some reasons for me to visit Bangkok this week. As a result, I had a chance to get on board "Fuji Maru".
Fuji Maru replaced the former one "Nippon Maru" to bring youths from ASEAN and Japan to build mutual understanding and friendship during the Ship for the Southeast Asian Youth Program.
I went to Klongtoey Port in the evening.
Oh It's she...Fuji Maru!
Ex-Participants batch 34 welcomed all guests. I registered at reception before I got a boarding pass to get on the ship.
We (Ex-Participants) attended at Theater where MCs informed us about activities which alumni will hold. There will be reunion for all Ex-participants in Thailand next year. Ayutthaya is selected as the place for reunion next year.
Alumni batch 1 invited all of us to help victims of disasters in ASEAN countries by donation. Our donation will be contributed to victims of flood in the Philippines and victims of the earthquake in Indonesia. As human being in the same world, if we can help each other...it will make the world better to live.

Kayoko, my Japanese friend the same batch with me become Administrative staff this year again.
I talked with Captain Shirokawa. Last year, Captain Shirokawa came to Thailand by Nippon Maru. Captain told me that Fuji Maru was renovated and operated for The Ship for the Southeast Asian Youth Program this year.
Number of my friends with the same batch with me who attended Reunion on Board this year is 8.

Jane attended reunion this year. She knew Mathong who is another batch.
I met P'Ittipat last year on board and I did not see P'Nai for long time.
