เพลงนี้ เป็นเพลง ในยุคแรกๆ ที่ผม แปล ออกมา โดยใช้วิธี ถอดคำประพันธ์ พวก คำพังเพย และ สำนวน อีกทั้ง พวกแสลง ที่ ฝรั่งชอบเขียนในเนื้อร้อง การแปลเพลงให้เข้าใจ นั้นไม่ยากครับ มีอยู่อย่างเดียว ที่พึง เรียนรู้ไว้คือ
อย่าแปลเถรตรง เด็ดขาด!
โดยเฉพาะพวดเพลงที่ชอบใช้สมบัติสำนวน คำแปลกๆ หรือคำเปรียบเทียบ ถ้าแปลตรงตัว คุณจะยิ่งง เข้าไปใหญ่ ผม เคย ก็เคยบอก ไปแล้ว ในการแปลเพลง ของ Pink Floyd และ Radiohead ที่ ท่านหลายคน เคยมาถามผม ว่า เพลงนี้ ต้องการสื่อถึง อะไร
บางคนพบว่า เพลงบางเพลง เป็นเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับ ความรัก หลายคนถามว่า อ่าว...ไม่เห็นมีคำว่า love เลย
คืออยากบอกงว่า อย่างงี้นะครับ คุณต้องจับประเด็นในสิ่งที่เข้า ต้องการจะสื่อ ถึงอะไร พวกนี้เขา มีลูกเล่นครับ ไม่เขียน คำว่ารักตรงๆ หรอก ประมาณว่า จะออกในเชิง คำขยาย พวกนี้ มากกว่า ถ้าคุณจับประเด็นได้ว่า เนื้อหา ประมาณไหน และรู้จักใช้ ความน่าจะเป็น และอิงเหตุผล ความเป็นไปได้ที่สุด ในการ วิเคราะห์ เนื้อหานั้น อย่างไร
อันที่จริง การ แปลเพลง ยังอีกเยอะ ครับ ที่ควรรู้ แต่ผม ก็เคยมาเล่าบอก กันไปแล้วนิ เอาเป็นว่า ตามดูในคลังกระทู้แล้วกันครับ
มาถึงเพลงนี้ ที่ คุณ ติ่ง /Live Forever โพสขอไว้ อันที่จริงเพลงนี้ ผมเคยแปลเอาไว้แล้วนะครับ เอาให้คุณ So Gallagher อันนี้ ผมพอจำได้ว่า เนื้อหามันประมาณเนี่ยแหละ ...
เพลงนี้พูดว่า คุณเคยไหม ที่ คิดว่าคนนี้คือ คู่จะร่วม ทางไปกับเราด้วย คุณเอ่ย คำว่ารัก ไปให้ เขาแล้วเนี่ย คุณจะดูแลเขาดี ขนาดไหน หรือ จะพาเขาให้ย่ำแย่ไป จนเป็นปัญหา คู่ครองกัน จนดูเหมือนว่า คำว่ารัก ที่ให้ไป มันทำร้ายใจของเรา เพราะคำนั้น ที่เรายังให้ กันไม่พอ และความอบอุ่น และ ความเข้าใจให้แก่กันอีกด้วย เพลงนี้เนื้อหาดีทีเดียวครับ
คำว่า Sally ในที่นี้ ตาม dic แปลว่า เป็นที่รัก คนรัก ดังนั้นเนี่ย ผมพิเคราะห์ว่า มันน่า จะหมายถึง คำว่ารัก sally เนี่ย can wait ก็คงว่า ความรัก นั้น ยังรอได้เสมอ รอในที่นี่คือ รอให้เราดูใจกันไป คบหากันไป เพราะรักเนี่ยให้คำเนี่ย พร้อมจะเอ่ยออกมาเสมอ ทุกเวลา เพียงแต่ว่า ควรรู้สึกว่า
เราดีพอ สำหรับเขา และ เราจะรักเขาตลอดไป ไม่เปลี่ยนแปลง
เพราะถ้าเอ่ยคำว่ารักไปเพราะเพียงความปราถนานั้น ย่อมเหมือนกับสัญญา ลมปาก ที่ทำร้ายใจ เราในวันเก่าๆ ได้ ทำให้มองกลับมาว่า เราทำเข้าไปอย่างไร
ดังนั้นเนี่ยเพลงนี้ ก็เหมือนกับเป็นตัวแทนแก่ คนที่ แสวงหารักแท้ และแน่นอน ครับ คู่หนุ่มสาว ที่จะใช้ชีวิต อยู่ร่วมกันไป
ขอให้ ท่าน ให้ความจริงใจ แก่กันและกัน นะครับ
