ทดลองเขียนบล๊อกก่อนมีข้อมูลจริงมาเขียน สมัครสมาชิกมานานแต่ยังไม่เคยเขียนอะไรเลย...

นี่ก็อีกแค่ไม่ถึง 100 วันก็จะไปอินเดียแล้ว ยังไม่ได้หาข้อมูลเลยว่าสถานที่ที่จะไปมีประวัติ มีข้อมูลอะไรบ้าง ตอนไปถึงจะได้ทราบข้อมูลคร่าวๆ แน่นอนหล่ะ ไกด์ก็พูดภาษาอังกฤษ และเราก็คงไม่เข้าใจที่ไกด์อธิบายมากนัก เพราะจากประสบการณ์ท่องเที่ยวประเทศต่างๆ สำเนียงแต่ละที่ก็ยากแก่การเข้าใจ ขนาดฝรั่งเจ้าของภาษาเรายังไม่ค่อยเข้าใจเลย การอ่านรายละเอียดก่อนก็จะทำให้ท่องเที่ยวได้อย่างสนุกและมีคุณค่ามากขึ้น

ทริปนี้จะไปกัน 3 คน มี พี่หมี Paul, Marry.. (เป็นญาติของพอล เคยมาเมืองไทยเมื่อสามปีก่อนและเป็นสปอนเซอร์ทริปนครวัด-นครธม ครั้งนี้พอลเลยจะจ่ายค่าใช้จ่ายทั้งทริปเพื่อเป็นการตอบแทน... แฟร์ดี) และตัวเราเอง... นี่คือข้อมูลการท่องเที่ยวที่อินเดียแบบคร่าวๆ มีแต่ข้อมูลของวันที่, เมือง, โรงแรม และเที่ยวบิน ส่วนสถานที่ที่จะไปในแต่ละเมืองคง flexible แล้วแต่ไกด์จะพาไป โดยใช้เวลาท่องเที่ยว 16 วัน

India Itinerary
Leaving January 9, 2010 returning January 24, 2010

Day 1 (1/9/10) Leave Chiangmai to Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) (no flight reservations as budget airlines won’t reserve more than 2 months in advance). Leave Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) Jet Airways flight 9w63s at 18:05 arriving 21:05. Hotel Star Paradise will pick us up. Our confirmed reservations for 1 single room at 400 IRP and 1 double room at 475 IRP.

Day 2 (1/10/10) Amber tours will pick us up at the hotel at 9:00AM for sightseeing of old and new city, Red Fort< Jama Masjid, a rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk (Moonlit Square). Government Buildings and presidential Palace, Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, etc.

Day 3 (1/11/10) Free day in Delhi. No driver or guide.

Day 4, 1/12/10) Walk to New Delhi train station (about 10 minutes) for express train to Agra. Shatabdi Express leave 06:15 arrive 08:10. Amber Tour driver and guide will pick us up at the train station and take us to Tourist Rest House to check in. Confirmed reservations at 450IRP and 600IRP. Day 5 (1/13/10) Agra to Jaipur by Amber Tours car/driver/guide (approx. 5 hrs) via Fatehpur Sikhri, the abandoned capital of the Mughals. At Jaipur go directly to Hotel Pearl Palace with reservations for one super deluxe air cooled single room at 600 IRP and one super deluxe air cooled double room at 650 IRP.

Day 6 (1/14/10) In Jaipur Amber Tours guided sightseeing of city palace, Jantar Mantar (the observatory), Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and evening spice and herb market.

Day 7 (1/15/10) Jaipur to Pushkar by road Amber Tours Car/driver/guide (approx. 3 hours). Transfer to New Park Hotel with 2 rooms confirmed at 750 IRP per night. Visit temples, etc.

Day 8 (1/16/10) Pushkar to Jodhpur by road, Amber Tours car and driver (approx. 4 hrs). Confirmed hotel reservations at Saji Sanwri Guest House for room #7 with hot shower @ 950 IRP and room 11 with hot shower @ 850IRP paid in full August 21, 2009. Reconfirm in January sajisanwri@rediffmail.com Sightseeing will include visit to the Market - famous for its antique furniture stores and traditional Dhurri factories. The Jaswant Thada - built in 1899 in white marble are the cenotaphs of four previous rulers of Jodhpur. Evening Mehrangarh Fort at sunset.

Day 9 (1/17/10) Amber Tours car and driver will pick us up at the hotel and drive from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer (approx 5 hrs). Confirmed reservations for 2 rooms at Shahi Palace Hotel at 750 IRP per room. Reconfirm in January info@shahipalacehotel.com

Day 10 (1/18/10) Visit the Fort and its five palaces. See the beautiful Gadi Sagar Tank, the main source of the city's water supply and also the traders’ mansions known as “Havelis”.

Day 11 (1/19/10) Jaisalmer to Udaipur by road (approx. 10 hrs. drive) via the ancient Jain temples of Ranakpur. On arrival transfer to Hotel Poon Haveli. Reservations for 2 standard rooms @ 800IRP. Not confirmed yet.
Day 12 (1/20/10) Full day guided sightseeing of Eklinji and Nagda Jain Temples and Udaipur city sightseeing visiting the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Sahelion-ki-bari and Shilp Gram.

Day 13 (1/21/10) Udaipur/Delhi by morning flight. Jet Airways (9W 373) Dep. 0740 hrs. Arr. 0945 hrs.
flight to Varanasi Spicejet. SG 114 Dep. 1410 hrs. Arr. 1535 hrs.
Reservations at Scindhia Guest House for 2 rooms at 550 IRP per night. Hotel pick-up at airport.

Day 14 (1/22/10) Suggest boat ride on the Ganges early morning to see the burning ghats. Visit the Temples and ashrams and also Sarnath where Lord Buddha pronounced his first Sermon.

Day 15 (1/23/10) Morning in Varanasi. Hotel transport to airport for flight back to Delhi. Spicejet SG 119 Dep. 1605 hrs. Arr. 1730 hrs. On arrival Hotel Star) Paradise car to meet and take us back to the hotel.
