After a rough whole week, it is a good idea to take a sweet escape
to somewhere not too far from Bangkok.
Pattaya city, one of the famous chaotic tourist destinations,
is about 2 hours away, but if you drive a little faster than me 1 and a half hour would do.
The entrance is quite complicated, but with Google Map, you should be fine.
It is in a walking distance from a Central Pattaya department store.
The Bayview Pattaya is a medium size hotel
that has fantastic sweeping ocean view (if you pick the right room).
It has free Wifi, tasty welcome drink and dessert, and plenty of parking space.
The rooms and facilities are perfect for both families and couples,
as it offers an ideal seaside resort experience.

Mr. Grononger, the hotel general manager,
a sweet sweet guy and very fluent in Thai.

"Deluxe sea view" room type comes in 3 different shades.
The room is 30 sq.m. The one I stayed was the orange theme
The bathroom is pretty small, but very convenient.
The deluxe sea view is 3,060 Baht/night,
and I think the price might go up and down depends on season,
so please check again before you visit.

the hotel also offers activity like carving Thai exotic fruit.

There is a "Family mart", a convenient store right in front of the hotel.

I would definitely go back next time I visit Pattaya city ;)
