I truly believe that Japanese is the most talented ppl when it comes to animation. About 7 years ago, I was introduced to this awesome Japanese animation film studio - Studio Ghibli - because someone in Madison lent me this animation movie called 'Princess Mononoke'. After watching that movie, I was mesmerised coz of the story line and also the beauty of the every single thing in the movie. At that time, there was no Youtube or Veoh that you could just search for online clip or films, and it was also pretty difficult to find other animation movies from Studio Ghibli in the video stores back then too.

After that first Ghibli's movie that I watched, I just kinda forgot and never bother trying to find other Ghibli's movies.

Studio Ghibli came to me again about two years ago when I went out with this guy in Minneappolis for a couple of months. He was really into Ghibli's movies, so some nights we would just cuddle and watch movies at this apartment. He made me watch two movies from very early years of the studio, which were 'Laputa: the Castle in the Sky' and 'Kiki's Delivery Service'. Even though those two movies were from like the 80's, they were really amazing. I guess I should thanks Oscar for making me watch those two amazing movies.

Then about a year or so ago, I was really into watching stuff from Youtube and Veoh coz I was bored out of my freaking mind living in this farm town. That was when I thought about Ghibli, so I then tried to search for all the movies from the Ghibli that I could from both Youtube and Veoh. Now .. thanks to those two great online source for free clips and videos, I have now seen 17 animation Ghibli's films produced from 1984 - 2006.

This is the list of those 17 animation films that I saw.

1984 - Nausicaa: Valley of the Wind (Directed by Hayao Miyazaki)

1986- Laputa: the Caste in the Sky (Directed by Hayao Miyazaki) --> I LOVE THIS MOVIE.

1988: My Neighbor Totoro (Directed by Hayao Miyazaki) --> I LOVE THIS MOVIE.

1988: Grave of the Fireflies (Directd by Isao Takahata)

1989: Kiki's Delivery Service (Directed by Hayao Miyazaki) --> I LOVE THIS MOVIE.

1991: Only Yesterday (Directed by Isao Takahata)

1992: Porco Rosso (Directed by Hayao Miyazaki)

1993: Ocean Waves (TV Movie)

1994: Pom Poko (By Takahata)

1995: On Your Mark (Music Film)

1995: Whisper of the Heart (TV Film)

1997: Princess Mononoke (by Miyazaki) --> Amazing Movie

1999: My Neighbors the Yamadas (By Takahata)

2001: Sprited Away (By Miazaki) --> This movie is just out of this world .. beyond your imagination.

2002: the Cat Returns (TV Film) --> very very cute .. I love it!!

2004: Howl's Moving Castle (By Miyazaki) --> love it

2006: Tales from Earthsea (By Hayao's son .. Goro Miyazaki)

Now Im wating for the latest film from Ghibli - Ponyo On A Cliff. It's already been released in Japan, but who knows when it's gonna come to US. I guess Im gonna have to rely on either Youtube or Veoh ..

โอ๊ะ น้องม่อน เจอคนคอเดียวกันแล้วอิอิ

พี่พลาดไป 2 เรื่อง ไม่นับที่น้องม่อนคอยอยู่นะคะ คือ My Neighbors the Yamadas กับ Tales from Earthsea (By Hayao's son .. Goro Miyazaki) ไม่รู้พลาดได้ไง

ชอบตรงที่เขาจะแอบๆ นำเสนอเรื่องสภาพแวดล้อมแบบเนียนๆ แต่เราก็แอบๆ หนาวๆ น่ะนะ

มีเรื่องนึง ที่พี่ดูครั้งนึงแล้ว สาบานกับตัวเองว่าจะไม่ดูรอบ 2 เป็นอันขาด เรื่องนั้นคือ Grave of the Fireflies เพราะพี่ดูแล้วร้องไห้ตั้งกะต้นจนจบ เศร้ามากๆ
