เรียนคำวลีแบบ จี๊ป จี๊ป: SPEC vs. TYPE

หากใครไปเผลอปิ๊งชาวต่างชาติ แล้วอยากถามเค้าว่า "สเป๊กของคุณเป็นอย่างไรหรอ?" 
อย่าไปเผลอใช้คำว่า Spec นะคะ เพราะเค้าจะ งง เลยทีเดียวค่ะ

จี๊ปคิดว่าคำนี้เป็นคำย่อมาจากคำว่า Specification (คนไทยเราชอบย่อคำกันมากๆ) ซึ่งแปลว่าประเภท .. ความหมายอาจจะดูว่าใช้ได้ พุดไปเค้าก็น่าจะเข้าใจเหมือนกัน(รึเปล่า)

แต่ภาษาอังกฤษยังมีอีกคำหนึ่งที่แปลว่าประเภทเหมือนกัน คือคำว่า "Type" เป็นคำนาม ซึ่งเค้าจะใช้คำนี้ ในกรณีที่ถามถึงประเภทของคน กันค่ะ

อยากทราบการออกเสียง กดลิ้งนี้ อย่าลืมกดตรงลำโพง - หลักการคือ ได้ยินอย่างไร ออกเสียงตามนั้นเลยนะคะ ขอเน้นตรงเสียง P ค่ะ อย่าลืมออกด้วยนะคะ

จี๊ปเคยอาศัยอยู่ที่อเมริกามา เกือบๆ 10 ปีค่ะ ตอนนี้ย้ายมาอยู่เมืองไทยบ้านเฮาแล้ว ที่เชียงใหม่เจ้าาา :)
อยากฝากถึงคนไทยหลายๆ คนนะคะ ว่าอย่ามัวแต่นั่งท่องจำคำศัพท์หรืออ่านแต่แกรมม่าอย่างเดียว ลองหันมาหัดพูด นำออกมาใช้กันได้แล้วค่ะ
สู้ๆ นะคะ ไม่ได้ยากอย่างที่คิดเลยค่าาา

จี๊ปอยากแบ่งปันความรู้ และประสบการณ์ดีๆ ในทางออนไลน์นี้ดูบ้างค่ะ

I spent time living in the United States for almost 10 years. I am currently living in Chiang Mai now.

I used to hate English because it requires so many skills. I stopped learning grammar 8 years ago, because I noticed that American people do not really care much about it. Plus it's so boring!!
Right now, my communication skill (both for speaking and listening) is much stronger than before. I focused on how to speak clearly and try to be speak like a native as close as I can.
It turned out to be very FUN, and I enjoy learning conversation since then.
Just want to share a quick tip for Thai people: Don't spend too much time on grammar, you are already GOOD at it! Try to focus now on conversation, and learn about the mouth movements. It would help you a lot to speak like a Native!
