1. From the guests' and owner perspectives. You can have the most extraordinary itinerary, the most lavish amenities, and be traveling aboard the most famed and admired yacht in the world, but on any given trip, if you get a bad crew, the experience is a disaster.

A professionally trained crew is imperative to the operation and success of a charter yacht. The guests are used to five-star service in their homes and wherever they travel. The yacht crew must be trained to this level.

2. From crew member's perspective. What makes a particular yacht a good one to work on ? It's the crew. It's the team you have around you that makes the difference. Not only do you work alongside these other individuals, but you have to live with them as well. They are your fellow crew member, teammates, and also your family away from home. If the chemistry is right, it can make for an amazing experience for all involved.
Getting to know the other crew members' roles on board will allow you to begin thinking in terms of the overall team picture. And you never know ... at some point, you may have to jump in and assist these people in their jobs.
